Mr. Hill joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2006. He practices primarily in real estate, land use and general business law. He oversees our clients' needs relating to claims and development under Measure 37 and Measure 49. He also consults on labor and employment issues and is an experienced appellate advocate. He represents clients in administrative proceedings with various state and local authorities. Mr. Hill is admitted to practice in all Oregon State and Federal Courts.A Gulf War veteran and former member of the United States Air Force, Mr. Hill was decorated for his service in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Just Cause while assigned to the 37th Tactical Fighter Wing. He assists other disabled veterans resolve claims with the Veterans Administration due to service connected illness or disability. Mr. Hill actively participates in the Oregon State Bar's Military Assistance Panel, volunteering his time and expertise to assist Oregon's deployed military service members and their dependents.
Education
Mr. Hill received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with honors, in Economics and Business Management from New Mexico State University in 2002. Mr. Hill received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law in 2006, where he was also a member of the nationally prominent Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law.
